WooCommerce Plugin
Use the Dinape WooCommerce Plugin to connect a WooCommerce shop to Dinape without building a full custom checkout integration.
The plugin provides a prebuilt integration path for WooCommerce merchants. It helps connect the shop checkout to Dinape so payments can be processed through the configured Dinape channel and connector setup.
When to use the WooCommerce Plugin
Use the WooCommerce Plugin if:
- your shop runs on WooCommerce
- you want to connect your shop checkout to Dinape
- you want to use a prebuilt integration instead of building a custom Payment API integration
- your Dinape channel and connector setup are already configured
Use the Payment API if you want to build a custom integration or connect Dinape to a non-WooCommerce checkout flow.
Before you start
Before using the WooCommerce Plugin, make sure that:
- your Dinape account is available
- the relevant channel is configured
- at least one connector is configured for the channel
- the required payment methods are available
- you have the required plugin configuration details
- your WooCommerce shop is ready for payment configuration
How it works
A typical WooCommerce Plugin flow includes these steps:
- The customer starts checkout in the WooCommerce shop.
- The plugin sends the payment request to Dinape.
- Dinape processes the payment through the configured channel and connector.
- The customer completes any required payment steps.
- Dinape returns the payment result.
- The order and transaction status are updated.
- The transaction can be reviewed in Transactions.
Configure the plugin
Configure the Dinape WooCommerce Plugin in your WooCommerce admin area.
The exact plugin settings depend on your setup. You may need details such as:
- Dinape environment
- channel ID
- API credentials
- return URLs or callback settings
- payment methods to display in checkout
info The available configuration options depend on your Dinape setup and the plugin version.
Test the plugin integration
Before processing live payments, test the WooCommerce Plugin integration with a connector configured in Test mode.
Use test transactions to check:
- payment method display in WooCommerce checkout
- successful payment handling
- failed or canceled payment handling
- order status updates
- callback handling
- transaction creation in Dinape
For more information, see Test your integration.
