Getting started overview

Follow these steps to start using Dinape, from requesting access to configuring payment providers and testing your checkout flow.

1. Request access

Request access to Dinape to create your account.

INFO

To request access, contact the Dinape team at support@dinape.com.

Your account gives you access to the main Dinape features, including merchant configuration, payment provider connections, hosted checkout, transaction management, and user management.

2. Configure your account

Set up the business entities and channels you need to process payments.

In Dinape, channels are used to separate payment configurations for different sales or operational contexts. For example, you can use different channels for online shop payments, in-app payments, or separate business areas.

For more information, see Configure Account.

3. Invite team members

Invite team members and assign the roles they need to work in Dinape.

Use role-based access to control who can configure settings, manage payments, review reports, or work with reconciliation data.

For more information, see User Management.

4. Connect a payment provider

Connect your preferred payment provider to a channel.

Dinape supports connector integrations such as PayPal, Adyen, and Worldline OBS. After a provider is connected, you can configure the payment methods available for that channel.

For more information, see Integrations Overview.

5. Set up checkout

Integrate the Payment API to create payments with Dinape. Depending on the request and configuration, Dinape may route the customer to the Hosted Payment Page when customer interaction is required.

You need the channel ID for the channel you want to use. The channel determines which payment provider configuration and payment methods are available during checkout.

For more information, see Hosted Payment Page.

6. Test the payment flow

Use the Demo Online Shop to see how a hosted checkout flow works in a typical online shop environment.

For more information, see Demo Online Shop.

7. Move to the live environment

The switch from the test environment to the live environment currently requires manual assistance.

TIP

When you are ready to move to the live environment, contact DINAPE support for guidance at support@dinape.com.
