PayPal
Use the PayPal connector to connect a channel to PayPal for payment processing. After the connector is added, it appears under Affiliated connector on the channel Configuration tab.
The PayPal connector details page shows the connector configuration, credentials, webhook URL, and related metadata.
Add the PayPal connector
Select the channel you want to configure, then open the Configuration tab.
In Affiliated connector, select the plus icon to create a new connector.
Select PayPal
In the Connector setup dialog, select PayPal as the connector.
You can also add a description to help identify the connector later.
Select Continue to enter the required credentials.
Add credentials
In the Credentials step, select the connector mode and enter the required PayPal credentials.
Available connector modes include:
- Live mode: used for live payment processing
- Test mode: used for testing purposes only
For PayPal, the required credential fields are:
- Account ID
- Client ID
- Client secret
Select Finish to create the connector.

Test mode is where transactions and outcomes are simulated by the gateway or connector. These transactions are for testing purposes only and do not affect live processing, KPIs, reporting, reconciliation, or settlement.
Configure the webhook
After the connector is created, use the PayPal webhook URL to configure payment updates in your PayPal setup.
